MOCK TRIAL
Justice gets served, big time
Mock Trial is a state-wide competition in which we compete with other schools to best present the year's given case. Each year we are given different sets of evidence, affidavits, characters, etc. From here, we develop our own case theory, our own line of questioning, opening/closing statements, etc. to then be presented in front of a real judge in an actual court house against other schools. Mock Trial requires and improves argumentation, public speaking, teamwork, and acting skills, and also helps nurture an appreciation and understanding of the workings of the US legal system.
